Before working at AKR, I didn't expect AKR's business to be this big. Previously I knew that it was engaged in trading Chemicals, but it turns out that AKR's core business is not only that, but there are Petroleum, Lubricant, and various subsidiaries that work with well-known companies such as BP, Pelindo III and Vopak. In the first phase of the Sales Development Program, I was placed in Head Office and Jakarta Branch. My inherent impression as a first jobber is that AKR has a supportive work environment to be able to work and learn.
I’ve been working at AKR since 2011 and after working for roughly 7 years, I feel that I have gained a lot of knowledge and exceptional working experience in several areas such as HR, GA, and Crewing. I feel that I can grow and develop my competencies through training programs from the training department and through my brilliant leaders. AKR also has a great scholarship program for their employees' children. From this, I believe that AKR sees the importance of education as a means to better our country.
AKR is the best place ever for me to learn everything, because AKR provides many opportunities for employees to develop their talents and abilities. I really enjoy working here. The leaders are generously willing to share knowledge, they will teach us until we understand, and always wants the subordinate teams to show progress.
